Volunteer Information

Want to help out the sport and volunteer your skills to the OMRA?  CLICK HERE to find out what you can do to be involved.  It's fun, great people, you'll make a difference and you will learn a lot!

Want to help do trail clearing? Build a bridge? Just want to get out in the forest and get some exercise on something that promotes our favorite sport? Here's a list of clubs and the days when they do trail work. (For club contact info, click on the Clubs link on the left)

  • OMRA Trail-Maintenance Program: The OMRA now has a series of trail maintenance parties and you are invited! Show up and help give back to the sport that we all love! The OMRA has scheduled a monthly trail-maintenance day on the third Saturday of each month. We will have incentives and rewards for the folks who give back, so join us! For all OMRA Trail-Maintenance questions or info, contact Tom Niemela by CLICKING HERE. Past OMRA scheduled trail parties can be seen on our Message Board HERE.

  • Oregon Department of Forestry - Tillamook State Forest: For 24-hour recorded information message about campgrounds, trails, fire season restrictions and volunteer projects, call (503) 359-7402.
  • Trailsmen:  They do trail work in the Tillamook State Forest the third weekend of every month (except when they host an event).
  • NW Tour & Trail:  They perform trail work and maintenance in Mt. Hood National Forest, Hood River County, Gifford Pinchot National Forest and Tillamook State Forest.
