Non OHV Business Directory

Postby klxkton » Sat Jul 18, 2009 9:04 pm

As a self-employed person struggling in the "New Economy" I spend a good portion of my days thinking of ways to enhance business. I know that a high percentage of our membership is either self- employed, in sales of a wide array of products or in the construction or service industry. I personally would rather hire someone from our membership than take a chance on someone I didn't know. Does anyone think that a subject devoted to promoting the businesses of our membership would be a practical or necessary possibility?

I think that this would be a great idea! Who needs a RV or know someone who does? I buy/consign, sell and help friends get the RV that will best fit their needs at a fair price. I'm in! www.rvcorral.com

I'm out here Yodis!

I'm lookin for a new job!

One with weekends off, I don't care about long 18hr to 20hr day's during weekday's, so I can ride or spend time with the family.
One that pays fair, so I can pay the bill's & save up a bit in hopes of a newer model bike than a 96' !!
One that may be seasonal but still have some winter work to keep my bill's in order till the "sweet" time in the summer or ??
I'm a fast learner, trick of all trades & master of none, don't mind any workin condition or situation. any place or time.

Are there any jobs out there on the table?

Will start right away, so long as I have all the gear needed & have notice of job hire/start time.
I have a resume & good references (I think, lol.) I can work on-call or backup if needed as well.
PT/FT, Temp to Hire.
Have an A+ driving record, Valid Driver's License/Insurance, Dependable Truck,
NO Drug's, NO DUII's, NO Drama, CAN pass a UA (Unless they test for 2-stroke inhalents!)
also no OMRA Rivals at this time! lol.

Any Bidder's? Can start asap!

Awright already, so this would be a forum that lists people with their avocation or occupation talents? If so, what should it be called? Would it end up being a spammy forum? Just want to set it up properly.

Just fellow OMRA members listing their vocation in a coherent manner in hope of creating win-win business transaction. Does that sound like a good start? We don't want Ponzi scheme stuff. People who provide a service (Not dates Devan) sales, building, real estate, auto body, hair, auto service, hot tubs, fitness, guide service, taxes, paint, heavy equipment, RV SALES, rv service, Help me out what am I missing?

Well stated, Yodis! The thought came to me as Russ Manning and his roofing company had given me and my painting company a few referrals based on my meeting him at Goldendale and trading business cards. I thought that if we had a way to advertise our companies or our professions, it could potentially help all of us out.

Gents,
As I eluded to, I created the Forum, so post your services over there instead of this thread. :)
