I don't understand way people who say they are consevative support WalMart. The American tax payers subsidise most of ther work force.

i didn't vote for local/state/fed government(s) to subsidize anyone.

the us tax payer (government slave) subsidizes all companies employees directly or indirectly.

its a big government problem, the problem isn't that my power washer was made in asia.

They have been trying to build a Walmart in Your area. On the second try. There are only two land owners that is stopping it. Both have been offered the world. U k China and Walmart

Sorry it kills every sole proprietorship, around it. Then the light rails comes in.

i live in st helens, they built a walmart here several years ago and it hasn't killed anything. in fact its brought a lot more people into town to shop, and probably to other businesses too. i really can't think of one place that closed down specifically because wal mart came in.

I'm sure you're enjoying at your job some of the benefits that Union workers died for years ago...5 day / 40 Hr. work week...8 hr. day...overtime...health care...pensions...safety at the workplace...paid vacations....seniority...prevailing wage...unemployment Insurance...
I'm sure there are a lot of other people out there who share the same feelings about Unions as you do JB15.
But a lot of us out there have had fathers, mothers, grandfathers & mothers that worked for a union wage, that put food on our table, clothes on our back, a roof over our head.. put us through school & college.. and were still be able to afford to put nice things like a CT70 Honda under the Christmas tree...like my parents did...for which I am forever grateful... so that today I can enjoy the benefits of another "Union"...the OMRA.

I own a software company. So I work for myself...

Unions may have been needed 60 years ago, they aren't now. Union clowns have made the us uncompetitive in all areas they are involved in, they are bankrupting local/state governments... etc

I don't owe anything or have any respect for them. My father was in a union and paid dues his whole life, they *(I'm a pottymouth)* him over every chance they could. And the hardest when the plant closed

I'll be damned if I ever pay some mafia like crime syndicate anything just be able to work. *(I'm a pottymouth)* those assholes

unions are getting rich on the backs of the tax payer via prevailing wage government jobs. and bankrupting government too.

unions are now doing everything they claim to be against.

yea this is a little ridiculous, i just wanted to let people here who thought about getting a power washer but thought they were going to all be really expensive... that the one at walmart is 40 bucks and works great. and has a two year warranty.

buy it if you want, buy a gas powered honda/cat one if you want.

until the unions lobby the government to make it illegal for you to buy the walmart one. get em while you can! lmao

Thanks for the heads up on the pressure washer. With my union job I was able to buy a Honda put mywife through school buy a house help my kids with college and put away for retirement. I feel really guilty about it. After working 25 years in the same business I don't deserve all this.
