Axle Nut size for 2001 YZ 125?

Postby lakersfan77 » Fri Apr 11, 2008 10:34 am

Anyone know the axle nut size for a 2001 YZ 125? I need to tighten the chain. I know my buddy's CR125 is 32mm... any thoughts? Tried to google it with no luck.

Axle Nuts

Postby Danno » Fri Apr 11, 2008 10:59 am

I just measured my WR 426 axle nut and it's 26 - 27 mm. A SAE 1 1/16" fits just fine. From 19 mm and up, SAE wrench sizes will work with out any problem. I like to use six point, thick walled impact sockets for any fasteners that are torqued tight. Hope that helps! Danno

It is a 27 mm sized blot. If you do not choose the correct size and I mean if you even step it down a little bit everything is going to collapse. So choose it wisely. I hope this helps.
