The Wife and I wanted to go for a ride of some kind, and with the forests closed, we got ahold of our friend Gordon Lawrence and decided to do the Sang Froid Two Stroke Ride. We all rode 1978 vintage bikes: Donna and Gordon on Yamaha DT175's and me on a Yamaha DT250. The event started off with breakfast at Kenton Station. Wow, there were all manner of old two smokers, and even a rotary Suzuki!
After breakfast, we took off on our own. My 1978 Yamaha DT250 started wheezing on uphills, but I narrowed it down to a faulty vent hose, then we had no problems the rest of the day. It was an easy, windy route with perfect weather and, as usual from the Sang Froid Club, something completely different. -Tom
You don't stop riding because you grow old, you grow old because you stop riding.
