Re: Linemen dirt bikers?

BTW Jay, I don't know about you but I find it harder and harder to find true over the calf socks, everyone is into those short sock nowadays. Danner has some very nice true over the calf socks made of minwool. I've bought around six pairs now. The light weight ones are the best for me. I like the th...

Re: New Forum: Offroad Products made in the USA

Great idea! I had no idea Cycra was a made in USA product until a couple of years ago and they make great plastics. Trailtech also comes to mind, local company that makes great products.

Re: Linemen dirt bikers?

Re: Linemen dirt bikers?

I have not gaffed up a pole since I was in the Philippines around 1990. It is a rare day to see anyone climb with gaffs anymore in telecom. Everyone uses a bucket or climb steel. With your signature you must be into power. I'll stick to fiber optic, no power on that stuff;) I get to watch the power ...

Re: China Hat ISDE

Just a reminder, I just read this. Joe.......... The Deschutes National Forest has gone beyond the requirements of Oregon State law – which provides an exception for organized events – and has mandated that Oregon Safety Education Card requirements are met by all participants in the ISDE. In 2013 al...

Re: Whats the proper way to pass?

the more I read the more I'm getting nervis about the Funky Chicken race. that race brings a lot of fast guys and with the short laps I get passed a lot. Expert racers know what is up and they understand. If there is no way to let a faster racer pass simply hold your line and get over when you can....

Wow! I am surprised that arm is not broken. Sounds like he got his hand under the bark buster when he went down. I thought for sure it would be broke. The kid had his bell rung pretty bad. Hope he has a speedy recovery!!! It was real nice seeing the Jones crew again,,, it's been a while. Joe...........

Re: Boots

I could not afford any real good boots so I bought a pair of Irish setter elk hunters. They have been good boots but no toe protection at all and the sole is soft so they wear fast. I dropped them off last week to get new vibram soles. Redwing owns Irish setter and there happens to be a redwing stor...

Re: WTB wheelset for 04 KTM 200

Just so you know you can use the KTM wheels off of any model of that year for sure: 125, 200, 250, and the 4 strokes. Thee back wheel will work from 98 up. The front wheel changed in 03 I think, larger axle diameter. It is common to grenade the rear hub and that makes the rear wheel very hard to fin...
