About me: I grew up in Washington County area. Graduated in 1991 from Aloha High. I am owner of Millennium Graphics and Forms. We design and print forms, envelopes, shirts, hats, stickers etc. I have always loved the great outdoors. Love to camp, hunt, fish, ride. If it is outside, I love to do it. I currently have a small farm in Buxton were we raise Christmas trees, horses and kids. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 11 years. We have 6 kids oldest 10, youngest 1. They all love to ride.
My favorite riding
area: Post Canyon
My first bike: 1980 XR-80.
When I first started riding: I
first started riding in 1980 when I got my new bike. We had a empty field next to
our house and I would ride for hours. This was in Hillsboro. We later
moved to the foothills in Aloha and that opened up a whole new riding
area. My friends and I would hit the power lines and ride what seemed
like forever. ( It's all houses and jogging paths now)
My riding experience: Its been mostly fun. Just me and the guys hitting the trails. My first race was the Hangover Hare Scramble in 1995. I took 9th. that got me hooked on racing. We started getting into poker runs and cross countries in 1996 and GP's in 2000. We decided to form a team in 2000 just for fun. Team R3PM. The R3PM stands for Rocks, Roots, Ruts, Puddles, and Mud. Racing is what got me introduced to the OMRA. We have since been trying to hit every Saturday race on the schedule. In 2002 I made it a goal to try and win the GP Championship in the 30 expert class. It was a blast achieving this goal.
My favorite saying: Just another day in paradise!!
Why I became an OMRA Officer: I had been hearing the last few years that the OMRA wanted more volunteers to get involved, so I decided to get more involved.
I'd also like to say: I
am looking forward to working with the long time officers and the new ones. We
have some exciting new goals for 2003. One of my major goals is to get
the word out about the OMRA and what the organization does for us as riders
in the state of Oregon.
