The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) and the Specialty Vehicle Institute of America (SVIA) are announcing a new program to recognize the outstanding Take Pride in America (TPIA) volunteer efforts by OHV clubs across the country. RANGER RICK MAGAZINE PORTRAYS OHVs IN AN UNFAIR LIGHT

Popular outdoor magazine for children takes potshots at ATV riders in cartoon panels
   The June and July issues of Ranger Rick Magazine, which is published by the National Wildlife Federation, ran a two-part cartoon story board detailing the troubles when an "ORV came tearing through Deep Green Wood like a tornado, shaking everything and everyone in its path". Later, one of the animals trips and falls and is nearly run over by the mindless ORV rider. You can view all the panels at the links in this story.
