What year did the Recreational Trails Fund (RTP) first get the green light? (see answer below)
The
NOHVCC Adventure Trail had lots of traffic during the immensely
popular Michigan Rites of Spring event. Many of the young riders had
just completed their morning CCC training courses and came a bit
over-prepared for the "rigors" of the Adventure Trail. Go to www.nohvcc.org and save our Home Page on your favorites.
If
you have a story idea for NOHVCC News, contact
the Editor at
stevecasper@msn.com It all began in 1991 with the passage of the Symms Act (named after Idaho Senator Steve Symms). Since then, off-highway trail systems have literally received millions of dollars in funding for building and maintaining trails, all of which are derived from gas taxes.
