Battling one of the biggest problems facing riders today

        Motorcycle and ATV industry and advocacy groups recently met for a "Sound Summit" where solutions to the noise problem which we all face were hashed out. The NOHVCC Adventure Trail had lots of traffic during the immensely popular Michigan Rites of Spring event. Many of the young riders had just completed their morning  CCC training courses and came a bit over-prepared for the "rigors" of the Adventure Trail.

It all began in 1991 with the passage of the Symms Act (named after Idaho Senator Steve Symms). Since then, off-highway trail systems have literally received millions of dollars in funding for building and maintaining trails, all of which are derived from gas taxes.
