Wiley Dean Rasmussen, age 45 of Scio Oregon died Monday in a logging accident
in the Mount Hood National Forest. Fisher Funeral Home of Lebanon is
handling arrangements. There will be a grave site service at Sandridge
Cemetery Friday, June 13th @ 2PM.
Details: A treetop struck Wiley in the head and he was conscious for a
short time. Life flight was called in, but Wiley's injuries were too
severe to revive him. After all attempts failed to revive him, he was
pronounced dead on the site. The family is not receiving phone calls at
this time and wish to have condolences sent to the Funeral Home.
Wiley's father, Clayton Rasmussen, he has asked that condolences be offered
through the Funeral Home in the form of donations made to the International
Children's fund, where Wiley had been active with two children. In place
of flowers, they would like to see his gift of life continued through this
program.
